近年來隨著聖嬰現象以及各種大自然反撲,人類已漸漸意識到節能的重要性。然而具體方式為何?我們不斷地在開發各種能源,但是不要忘記,為了生產能源開發設備,我們又製造了更多的碳排放。當務之急的是:「我們如何節能」更顯得重要。節能的方式是否正確?我們又該從何做起?本文從太陽照射角度、地理位置、氣候條件的不同來探討『傳導熱』和『輻射熱』的差異性以及台灣的節能方式。從光的組成:紫外線、可見光、紅外線及各式玻璃的介紹,並提供內政部建築研究所104年的節能實驗及玻璃建材參數數據,言簡意賅、淺顯易懂地提供讀者關於隔熱應有的認識,期許能為台灣在節能這條路盡到棉薄之力。

People have been realizing the importance of energy saving due to El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and all kinds of extreme weather events. What should we do? Energy development has not stopped, but to produce the energy-developing equipment, there are more carbon dioxide released. The most urgent issue is “how to save energy.” Are we saving energy in the right way? How should we start? This article will discuss the difference between heat conduction and heat radiation and the energy saving methods in Taiwan through the difference of sun angle, geographic location, and climates. By introducing the composition of sunlight (UV, VLT, and IR) and several kinds of window glass, and providing the test report conducted by Architecture and Building Research Institute, Ministry of the Interior and the data of glass materials, we hope to help readers build a basic concept of heat insulation and dedicate ourselves to saving energy in Taiwan.
